Our unique model allows the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to serve employees and covered dependents of local industries, providing an exciting opportunity for a provider who enjoys providing primary care and urgent care. 

Position highlights:

• Schedule offers work-life balance, Monday and one other day to add up to 20 hours per week.
• Services provided at three local industries in Hamlet, Rockingham, and Troy, NC.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for employees including physical exams, health histories, and screenings.
• Provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents, and management of work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
• Offer guidance and education to employees on injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness strategies.

Qualifications:  

• PA Requirements: Graduation from an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and possession of NCCPA certification.
• NP Requirements: Graduation from a nurse practitioner education program and national certification.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with NC Workers’ Compensation law and OSHA is a plus.  DOT certification and current DEA required.
• Must possess a clean background and be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• Travel to local employer worksites required.
