The EMR Systems Analyst- HIMSupport plays a critical role in ensuring the timeliness of EMR documents by means ofhands-onassistance in priority indexing and uploading, processing of documents pended in upload, scanning, indexing and QA review queues and similar priority HIM work queues.
Responsibilities
The EMR Systems Analyst – HIM Support is responsible forthe identification, analysis and/or resolution of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) quality control indexing, upload, distribution and/or related document processing issues. Additional responsibilitiesinclude being a resource for less senior staff requiringassistance and/or training needed toensure chart processing tasksare completed timely and accurately.
Qualifications
Skilled position requiringtwo (2) years of health information management or related technical experience to acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to efficiently perform assigned job.Candidate must have excellent PC knowledge and skills including proficiently and independently working HIM quality control indexing and upload queues, priority work queues and related time limited tasks. PreviousHIM document processing experience and proficiency required.
