Nursing Assistant Program Clinical and Practicum Instructor
Overview
The Nursing Assistant Program Clinical and Practicum Instructor is responsible for the development, and implementation of nursing assistant curriculum that aligns with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include planning, teaching, and evaluating primarily face-to-face theory, lab, and clinical courses, while managing any required credentialing to maximize deliverables and meet the organizational needs of FirstHealth. This position will be accountable for teaching NAII and the pre-selected NA+4 courses for certified nursing assistants across the system. The position will involve the direct supervision of students in classroom, clinical and lab settings
Education/Experience:
· BSN Required, MSN Preferred
· Minimum five (5) years of current acute care clinical nursing experience
· Teaching or education experience is required.
Licensure / Certification, and/or Registration:
· Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact required.
· BCLS required.
