Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Secretary. In this crucial role, you will manage the processing of medical record orders, reports, and information. You will also ensure our medical supplies and equipment are well-stocked and maintained. As the front-line receptionist, you will create a welcoming environment and operate under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced medical office setting.
Responsibilities
Efficiently process medical record orders and reports.
Maintain and manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Requisition repairs or replacements for supplies and equipment.
Serve as the primary receptionist, offering a warm and professional first impression.
Collaborate and support the Registered Nurse to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications
High School graduate or GED.
Supplemental training in Medical Office Management is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology highly preferred.
Proficiency in computer skills and ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
