4 Medical is a 27-bed Medical-surgical unit that encompasses a multi-disciplinary approach in providing patient care.
Nurses specialize in delivering patient centered care to patients ranging in age from young adult to geriatric. Nurses are trained and equipped with the knowledge to care for patients with, but not limited to, diabetes, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, infectious disease, invasive and noninvasive cardiology, pulmonary, and nephrology. The patients may or may not require cardiac monitoring. This diverse group of medical patients provides nurses with an excellent learning atmosphere to develop strong nursing skills, autonomy, and critical thinking while promoting growth and development.
Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. Experience preferred. BCLS required.
