**$15,000 Sign-On Bonus**
This position will be responsible for performing both CT and diagnostic radiology studies according to the established protocols and procedures. Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate imaging equipment, including adjusting settings and selecting appropriate techniques to obtain optimal images.
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of radiology with additional training in CT preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing diagnostic exams.
- Determine how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.
- Follows policy and procedures.
- Ability to navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Ability to lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
- Able to work weekends, holidays, shift rotations and call as needed.
Qualifications
- ARRT registered or registry eligible from an accredited Radiology program.
- CT Registered or CT registry eligible preferred.
- Maintains certification in BCLS.
