Responsibilities
As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at FirstHealth Sanford Health and Fitness Center, you will:
- Evaluate, Develop, and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized, patient-specific plans for a diverse range of patients.
- Provide One-on-One Therapy: Utilize a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and aquatic therapy, to deliver personalized care.
- Document Patient Progress: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices while maintaining accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage with a Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with a large team of seasoned Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs).
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation, and the importance of ongoing self-care.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Pursue Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development through continuing education opportunities.
