Public Safety Officer
Overview
The Public Safety Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and employees. This role calls for a vigilant and dedicated individual who is proactive in responding to all coded alarms and security issues.
Responsibilities
Emergency Response: React promptly to all coded alarms and emergency situations.
Security Escorts: Provide safe and secure escort services for patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
Investigations: Conduct preliminary investigations and compile comprehensive security incident reports.
Parking Management: Enforce and regulate campus parking guidelines to ensure orderly parking.
Safety Inspections: Perform regular security rounds and inspections, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Licensing: Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience: Minimum of six months of experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
