We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate team player to join our Endscopy team. In this role you will assist the providers with a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring that each patient receives high quality care.
Responsibilities
*Preparing the room and assisting the provider during the procedure.
*Reprocessing and sterilizing endoscopes according to established protocol.
*Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
*Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedure.
*Educating and comforting patients before, during and after procedure to provide a positive experience.
*Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and unit efficiency.
*Able to assist with back-up late during the week and a holiday.
Qualifications
*Graduate of a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technology.
*BCLS certified.
*Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and a commitment to patient safety and care quaility.
