Copy Center Technician
Overview
The Copy Center Technician provides document services while ensuring efficiency and corporate standards. Responsibilities include planning and executing copy and finishing work, managing workflow, and ensuring timely project completion. The role involves clear communication with requesters, proper equipment usage, safety adherence, and assisting with billing and record-keeping. In the manager’s absence, the associate ensures smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Ensure corporate standards are met for all Copy Center projects
Assess daily workflow to ensure timely completion of electronic and interoffice mail projects
Fulfill standard copy orders within two working days
Communicate with requesters to ensure timely project delivery
Perform other assigned duties to support departmental needs
Use equipment and supplies correctly, including preventive maintenance
Follow safety and infection control measures
Oversee daily operations in the absence of the manager
Assist with monthly billing and record-keeping
Qualifications
Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience:
High school diploma is required.
Additional Skills:
Must be able to work on multiple tasks and assignments in fast-paced environment. Must be able to learn and use project tracking/billing software.
Working Conditions:
FirstHealth Copy Center. Able to adjust schedule to meet demands of position. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and must be able to use scissors to cut paper and laminate.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate copy machines, bindery equipment and cutting devices as directed.
