RN Behavioral Intake Assessment Coordinator

RN Behavioral Intake Assessment Coordinator Job Summary:

• The Behavioral Health intake assessment coordinator, in conjunction with the Behavioral health Director will coordinate referral development and pre-admission patient process to the Behavioral health unit.
• This role will address consult calls for psychiatric providers, coordinate care of behavioral health referrals with providers, assign patients to providers, expedite the admission process to the behavioral unit and improve referral base to the behavioral unit.
• This position may have contact with patients who have moderate to severe psychiatric concerns and/or behavioral issues.
• Works with health centers, community-based organizations, insurers and community coalitions to develop programs, events and new initiatives that promote marketing for Unit program objectives

This position is for Inpatient Behavioral Health.

RN Behavioral Intake Assessment Coordinator Qualifications: 

• RN
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge of care provided by the Program based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and admission criteria appropriated to the age of the patients served.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar position and/or industry.
